Today I'm going to talk about the career I chose.

This forest engineering career, I chose it because I liked the conservation part of nature. For me the most important thing is to take care of the planet where we all live, which seems logical, but public policies do not condition what this is. This is why I believe that Chile and the planet need intelligent and dedicated people who through scientific research and work with people and governments can make the changes that are needed (which are many).

The main problems that we find are people who work or who want to work in forestry and environmental policies, or forestry work, etc. they are the powerful business of agriculture, real estate, forestry plantations, etc. in addition to the little political will regarding this. The loss of ecosystems generates not only sociocultural losses, but has also been demonstrated through scientific research that also generates important economic losses for the countries.

It is because of this kind of things that I chose this career in which I feel that I have learned a lot, but I can still learn much more and in which I want to continue developing as a professional and as an integral human being that works to help the planet and people .
